Description: Easy Hydroponics Kit

  • Hydroponic growing kit for kitchen herbs
  • Contains a 3D-printed sieve insert (including water level indicator)
  • Seeds available for 2 different plants: oregano or habanero (chilli)

Who hasn’t experienced it…? Highly motivated, you buy a small pot of basil in the supermarket and are sure that this time you’ll keep it alive for a long time… Except, two weeks later you repeat the process after the tragic death of the first little plant.

All change! Because with the Easy Hydroponics Kit you can simply grow your favourite kitchen herbs yourself from seeds. Thanks to the practical water level indicator, you can always see when you need to water again. So there’s hardly any chance you’ll kill any of your herbs. Right…? ;)

“Hydroponic” means that the plants can be grown without soil, thus saving space. This has many advantages, especially nowadays: you can produce a lot of food in a small space and you’re not dependent on nutrient-rich soil or so much water as although hydroponically grown plants need water, their fluid intake is much more efficient in these systems – up to 90 %. Even on the moon or Mars, vegetables could be grown in this way – as NASA is currently researching.

In this set you get everything you need for hydroponic growing! In the tin can, which also has the instructions printed on it, you put the fertiliser, which provides all the nutrients your plant needs to grow. The most important part is the sieve insert with a water level indicator. It was made with the help of a 3D printer and is either orange or red. Fill it with the substrate and seeds, then place it in the tin can and pour in the water. Now you just sit back and wait, and soon you’ll have your own little herb garden.

Choose from oregano or chilli sets, or even grow other herbs of your choice that are suitable for hydroponics.
