Anyone who has ever been to a pen & paper role-playing game knows that it is often almost exclusively about placing as many jokes as possible or showing off one's skills. This may be quite funny for the most part, but at the latest when the mage in the group says I cast Fireball the fun is over. Then you can only hope that all the other party members happened to be out of range or that the Dungeon Master is very merciful. Otherwise, the game evening may come to an abrupt end.
